Announcing ARENA, a Just Cause Universe Novel

ARENA, a Just Cause Universe Novel

We are excited to announce the scheduled release of the next book in Ian Thomas Healy’s Just Cause Universe series. ARENA releases worldwide on April 1, 2018, in both print and ebook editions. Like the other books in the series, this is a standalone tale. Tied into the universe, it does not require you to have read the others first. If you have read them, we do have an important bit of information to share.

just cause, just cause universe, arena, mustang sally, superhero, supervillain, alien, alien invasion, first contact, space battleThis will be the last Mustang Sally book, at least for the time being. Ian assured us (and we promise he’s right) that she is not dying in this book. After featuring her prominently in five previous books in the series, Ian has decided it’s time to let other heroes take center stage. That’s info for a future post, because right now we’re thrilled to have a new JCU book to tell you about.

THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY . . .

Humanity has spent decades calling into the stars, seeking assurances that we are not alone in the galaxy. After many years of silence, someone has answered. The Hind came from afar, not to extend the hand of friendship, but the axe of conquest.

The Hind drop an impenetrable force field over New York City, creating a cage where their shock troops will battle a handful of superheroes. They intend to conquer, but threaten annihilation if humanity doesn’t surrender. In their desperate bid to save first their city and then the rest of the world, the heroes of Just Cause must do the unthinkable and ally with the greatest supervillain the world has ever seen: Harlan Washington, the Destroyer.

ARENA is available to preorder now from Smashwords, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iTunes, and will shortly be available from Kobo. In the upcoming days we will share some snippets from the story. Artist Scott Story created a bang-up cover, and we’re looking forward to unveiling it soon.
