Meet the Narrator: Kathy Garner

Kathy Garner

Hi! Kathy Garner, here. I’m the voice of Hope and Undead Elvis, the audiobook.kathy garner, ian thomas healy, audiobook, narrator, hope and undead elvis, christian fiction, post apocalypse

Hope and Undead Elvis is unlike any other book I’ve ever read. It starts out witty and sassy, and from there it slowly goes dark. Then it brings you back out into the light again. It twists and turns and entertains and teaches. The story is truly a journey. In the end, it gives you… well, as the author said early in the recording process, “She’s named Hope for a reason.”

I was a brand, spanking newbie among narrators when I got the opportunity to narrate Hope and Undead Elvis. Luckily, this wasn’t the author’s first rodeo, or audiobook. Together, we produced a recording that makes me very proud. This audiobook gave me the chance to perform many dialects and accents, including ‘Elvish,’ of course. I had never tried an Elvis impression before this, and I loved doing it. I got better at it with practice.

It was super fun to voice this book, and I hope listeners enjoy it as much as I did!!!

Kathy narrated Hope and Undead Elvis. Get it on Audible, iTunes, and Amazon.
