Ferdie Luthy
Hello, My name is Ferdie Luthy. I became involved in voiceover in 1999. I soon discovered I had a knack for audio book narration. I started with children’s books for my grandchildren just for the fun of it. And it was good practice for voiceover. My Daughter in Law, a 2nd grade school teacher, wanting to use them for story time in her class. Her students loved them. So I decided to give “Big People” books a try. Seems “Big People” liked my work as well. My favorite Genres are, Noir Detective and Private Eye. Think Phillip Marlow and Mike Hammer. Westerns seem to be my forte. Love to voice the tough guy hero. And the strong willed Heroine and the myriad of other characters in the west. I also like to do tales of the weird and supernatural. That brings me to Muddy Creek Tales. A perfect combination of the weird and the western. Hence the ‘Weird Western’. Muddy Creek Tales: the best of the two worlds. A really fun book to perform. Well written with full bodied characters. One of those books that leave the reader wanting more
