Summer Jo Swaine
Summer Jo Swaine has been acting since she was a child, first in school plays, then in community theater. She’s worked behind the scenes, too, producing six seasons of dinner theater. Now, she’s a work-at-home gal, narrating audiobooks from her home studio. Her voice is described as sweet and young-sounding (maybe she never wanted to grow up) and her work is often selected for the Young Adult genre. She trained with David H. Lawrence XVII of vo2gogo and her website can be found at https://www.vo2gogo.com/summer-jo-swaine/. Summer Jo has narrated three Ian Thomas Healy YA books and found his depictions of his characters’ trials and tribulations mesmerizing, emotionally-charged, poignant, and an incredibly wild ride. When she’s not working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband Mike and her labradoodle Sophie Jo.
Summer has narrated the following audiobooks for Local Hero Press:
The Guitarist (Amazon, Audible, iTunes)
Making the Cut (Amazon, Audible, iTunes)
The Scene Stealers (Amazon, Audible, iTunes)
