Meet the Narrator: Jessica Renfro
Hello, there! My name is Jessica Renfro, and I am a story addict. Seriously… In addition to narrating audiobooks, I also sing opera, direct and act in plays, and create performances with all-new music designed to tell stories about climate change. Oh! And I am a sucker for science fiction and video games, which makes this latest project—The Path—one of the coolest things I’ve done in while!
Ian Healy introduced me to the genre of LitRPG, and it fits like a glove with Vanitha Bhat’s virtual world. The novel is adventurous, witty, and a supremely creative melding of science fiction, Hindu dogma, and gamer culture. And then, to top it off, the relationships in the book embody some pretty deep ideas about friendship. I even found myself choking up during some of the dialogue between Vanitha and Sonata. #friendshipgoals
